Awesome antiques!
On Sundays (every other Sunday as it gets cooler, so said a vendor standing outside selling his wares), there's an antique market in the North Farmer's Market Building across the street from the main food shopping area of the St. Lawrence Market.
There's lots of old goodies that are ready to buy and use right away, such as vintage clothes, stamps, lamps, records, jewelry, and furniture. I particularly liked a table near the Front St. entrance stocked with all sorts of buttons for DIY projects.
Coupla' heads up:
- The St. Lawrence Market across the street isn't open on Sunday (or Monday). Don't plan a two-in-one visit.
- Most vendors take cash only, so have it in hand.
- New and unique merchandise gets sold early to those in-the-know. Go early and stake out the cashmere table.
