  • Went to Optical Thirty 8 on the recommendation of a good friend and really I couldn't be happier with the result. I needed an eye exam as well which a registered optometrist does on site for $75 (and then you get $100 off any glasses you buy at the store.) After that I checked out their frame selection, probably tried on at least 20 pairs of glasses there including another 20 pairs at various other stores on queen but ended up coming back to Optical Thirty 8 and buying the first ones I had tried on. They have everything from very cheap to very not cheap frames. They also have access to the second generation of blue light blocking lens coating which don't change the colours of anything and aren't tinted. Picked up my glasses today, two weeks to the day I ordered them, (the blue light coating takes an extra week) still love them, had great service throughout. Everyone I encountered was very kind and knew what they were talking about so I would absolutely recommend their whole services to anyone.
