| - A friend recommended me to visit here, and I'm glad I did! At first, I underestimated the size of the arepas here; though they're not huge, they pack huge content and are pretty heavy. Our arepas averaged about $5-6/each. We got a wood fired chicken, pork butt, wood fired beef, and an order of plantains. The wood fired beef was super tasty, while the pork and chicken were a bit salty.
I've never had arepas before, but I became a huge fan after trying these. The "bun" was made of a cornmeal that was grilled, and it was stuffed with a LOT of tasty meats/veggies. The Venezuelan hamburger was filling and also came with two sauces. The pork and chicken arepas got a little wet from the juices inside and started to fall apart towards the end, but were still good nonetheless. The plantains were spot on; warm, toasty, sweet, and delicious.
I'd definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. It's worth a visit and you will want to try everything!
