| - i was interested in trying out eyelash extensions before my wedding this summer. i found mync online, and booked primarily because they were close to the hair salon where i also had an appointment for that day.
i was definitely worried before going. i have seen some terrible extensions and wanted to make sure that the ones i ended up with were natural enough looking that it would appear that i just had beautiful lashes, as opposed to a more dramatic look. i was also concerned that they only used synthetic lashes, as i had read some reviews of lash extensions that suggested that only real mink was the way to go.
their website was amazing and incredibly helpful - they have a series of pictures of the same person with each of the different lash looks so you can see a real comparison of how each level looks.
my appointment was with Ivy, and i have to admit that my first impression was that she was young, and perhaps not experienced enough to do the kind of job i really wanted. i was completely wrong.
she gave me a brief but thorough assessment so that we could decide on a length (not super long, she suggested that the longest we should go was an 8. i have no idea what that means but she was 100% right). she also went over my curl options, i selected the less curled ones.
i LOVE them. i have to say they turned out exactly how i wanted, thicker, not too long, definitely look natural but like i have naturally long, dark lashes (when in fact mine are short and fairly blond).
i will be back the next time i'm in town for sure!
