  • I had the body shop do a replacement on my front bumper after an accident. At first, I was happy with the repair. Several months after, there was a scraping sound when I drove. After inspection, it was discovered that my skid plate had not been reinstalled appropriately. They had only put in a few screws and the skid plate had vibrated loose and became destroyed due to it dragging. Then, I took the car in to have a recall done on the transmission. I asked them to look into an issue with an oil leak and an emission sensor. I had the appointment scheduled for 7am (which required getting a ride from the dealership with my newborn child) and was told it would be done around 11am. They didn't call me until 11am to tell me that the emission sensor needed replaced (which I already knew something was wrong but needed to find out exactly WHAT). They never said anything about the oil leak. Clearly, the tech simply hooked the car up to the computer for diagnostics and never bothered to actually look at the engine to figure out what could be wrong. At that point they then started to do the work on the transmission- my completion time ended up being my start time. When they called to tell me what the issue was, the sales person tried to bully me into getting the work done. First he said that the sensor not working would impact my gas mileage (which I already knew). When I said to wait on the $300 repair because I could get someone else to do it for cost of parts, he then told me that I needed to be "really, really careful. Driving the vehicle is not advised without this repair." So, it went from being a mere inconvenience of gas mileage to the car being unsafe to drive within seconds. If I weren't a woman, I have a feeling they wouldn't have tried this tactic. At pick up, I was treated like I was inconsequential because I had come in to have a free repair done and refused to let them do what they wanted to my vehicle on the spot. If the tech had actually looked at the oil leak issue, he would have found that the emission sensor was bad because of the oil leak- and been able to fix both issues and make money off of me. Instead, I will NEVER use this dealership for any reason whatsoever. Subpar service, bare minimum repair work, just all around bad experience both times I interacted with them.
