Had been going here a once or twice a year. Usually buy discounted admission as full price is too expensive. Signed up on line for their email to get discounts. Generally had an ok time till summer 2016, tho the kids were often frustrated with the variation in speeds of the carts.
Anyway, I had bought discounted tickets online that morning and intended to use them same day. I arrived at the track with my kids only to be told that I can't have bought them within 2 hours of intended use. But I hadnt I say it's been 4 hours since purchase. So then they said you need to purchase them 24h in advance of use, changing their policy. This is not in their email terms of service. so the guy says he'll let me go on the track at a discounted price but that im breaking their 'rules'. I guess I should have shut up at that point but I point out that this policy is not stated in their email. To which the owner says "if you continue to be rude I'm calling the police". Im not being rude I counter, I'm just pointing out the deficiency in your published policy. So then after a couple of minutes of this discussion he says I have to leave or he's calling the police. Escalated that fast. So I hold my ground and he calls the cops. I talk to an officer on the phone but of course its private property, and I don't need the 4 10yo kids I have in tow involved in more of a scene, so we leave. On the way out he follows us with a video camera and tries to record our license. total f'in nut. I filed a complaint with paypal, which I used to purchase the tickets, and was issued a refund promptly. I would say not to go as the risk of a confrontation with the owner is too high.
