| - My husband and I had a mixed experience here: I really liked it, but he didn't. We came without reservations on a Saturday night, and the place was pretty empty. We were seated immediately and had a partial view of the Bellagio fountains. The tables felt a bit close together, and it was very easy to hear conversations at other tables and difficult to block them out. It was also extremely dark; so dark that the man next to me had to use the flashlight on his iPhone to see and pay his bill haha
For food, we clearly had the bread basket, which was a little large for two people but tasty. We probably left about two-thirds of it untouched for fear of getting full before our main courses. I ordered the duck and foie gras ravioli, which was excellent. It was tasty and fun and inventive, and I've never really had anything like it. The filling was salty (in a good way) and paired very well with the marsala reduction, which was a bit sweet. My husband ordered the veal chop parmigiano, which he was pretty underwhelmed by. He grew up in Germany eating tons of veal, and he said that the quality just wasn't there for the price. For dessert, we split the nutella and vanilla bombolinis, which are basically donuts, and boy, were they yummy!
Service was pretty mediocre. While our server was perfectly friendly, he seemed really stressed. He had to run around to stay on top of things, and he sort of dropped/slammed our stuff onto the table and took off in a hurry.
