  • Worst best buy ive ever been too. I go in at 830 pm, returning a LG sound bar. I plan on exchanging it (this is the 2nd return for LG soundbar this week.) I loved the first one i bought and instantly regretted it. Anyways, i was directed to the LG not so "Specialist" heavier set guy with a orange beard in home audio department. (Need to also mention i tried calling the home audio dept before driving down there, was on hold for over 40 minutes until i hung up because no one picked up the phone. I then decided to just drive there) i walk up to that area, and 3 people including him where all sitting down talking to eachother. Fantastic, they ignored my call. Im talking to the LG Guy about the two soundbars i had and he told me that the 2nd one i returned was the better one. I explained to him the first one was louder, and had more bass. He told me the subwoofers were the exact same (which their not, the tech specs on each specify exactly that the SH3K (First sound bar i purchased) was bigger) I then told him that the SH3K had 20 more watts then the SJ4Y-S (2nd sound bar i purchased) he argued with me that they were the same. (Again, on LG website it specifies the SH3K has 200 wats, and the SJ4Y has 180w) To continue, i asked to see samsung products, and he got the samsung specialist over to me. Samsung guy showed me all 3 models, and we both agreed the samsung 450 was the right one for me. He told me to go up to the front and he will bring it over. Im waiting at the front and he brings over the samsung 430 sound bar and doesnt say anything. Im about to do the exchange until i notice its the wrong model. I have to go back and fourth to the home audio dept to customer service to get the correct model until the CSR guy looks it up and tells me the 450 isnt available. I then ask him to look if theres a samsung 550 open box model available, and he tells me yes, and to go back to the home audio dept to grab it. So i do, me and another employee are looking for it for about 5 minutes until he looks it up and tells me its not available there. I ended up just refunding my money and leaving. Never going back here as these employees are incompetent, and cant do a simple job. Pretty sad if the customer knows more about their products than they do, and then they try to argue about it too.
