  • I brought in a piece of luggage last week and was told 2 wheels needed to be replaced for $50. They take 50% as a deposit and when I was told to pick it up, it wasn't ready. I understood that they needed more time to locate 2 matching wheels so I gave them 2 extra days to do so. When I returned, I was asked to pay the remainder and the luggage was brought out to me. I wheeled it out of the store but I still felt it wasn't gliding smoothly. Another man came outside and said it needed some oil. Through all this I stayed calm but started to feel less confidence in their ability to fix it. The oil didn't work so I asked for my money back. The lady at the front desk was rude and said "NO, we won't return your money. Leave the bag with us for another day or two so we can repair it". I explained that I needed to pack the next day and ran out if time. She then asked " leave the bag now and come back before they close. I had a dental appointment that I was running to and wasn't sure if I would make it back before the shoe repair would close. Bottom line is that I DID give them plenty of time to repair the wheels and once they take your money, they refuse to return it no matter what!! Do not use this shoemaker at any cost.
