  • How cute is this small and cozy neighbourhood cafe? The staff are some of the friendliest I have met in the city -- no snobby attitude here! It clearly has a loyal following. As I waited for my drink, I heard the cashier greet guests by name and he even remembered some of the regulars orders. I had a latte and banana bread, both were excellent. They have all kinds of yummy looking treats and interesting flavoured lattes that I will have to try next time. I love the space. There are seats by the window for King St. people watching, or quieter tables at the back, next to a wall covered in plants. There was also a mini vintage pop-up in the store when I went, selling old records and back issues of Worn fashion journal. They play great music (chill, pleasant but not too intrusive if you are reading) and have some newspapers available. I think this will be my new go-to coffee spot when I'm in the area.
