| - I had a facial. I was very disappointed, especially for the quality expected for such an expensive treatment.
1) The products used were very oily in how they felt on my skin. Not good.
2) Post facial, my skin did not glow as usual and in fact looked worse, dull.
3) The bed was heated when it is 110°F outside and so, despite air-conditioning, I felt like I was burning and very uncomfortable.
4) As soon as the facial was done, as the eye cream was one of the last things to come on, I immediately ran to the shower and washed my hair of all the oil in it and rinsed my eyes out with cold water. Eye cream was applied over whole eye with more than light pressure...Not good! This has never happened to me before!
5) I was sweating during the facial yet the aesthetician didn't seem to notice that at all?!
6) The scalp massage was not relaxing at all, which is so unlike me, because I find that so relaxing yet this was not. 7) I could not wait for the facial to be over which is never the case with me.
Overall, the facial cost $285 for a customized facial for 90 minutes, and tip is not included.
I did end up complaining to the manager because I was asked how my services were. The manager was kind enough to give me 50% off of the treatment. What I think she should have done was not to tell me that the aesthetician I had was one of the top estheticians there and many people ask for her because that means they probably have pretty bad estheticians there. She was terrible and I have had many facials at top
rated spas worldwide and know what a great aesthetician is.
The facility itself is nice, but it is nothing to write home about. I would not pay for treatment here again as too many other places that are way better and way cheaper in Las Vegas.
How this spa is top rated on sites for best spa in Las Vegas is beyond my understanding... because there is no way this is the best spa in Las Vegas.
This is why I only gave the spa one star: the price is ridiculously exorbitant and doesn't even come close to justifying the price for what you get, both with the spa facilities and the treatment. I will not be coming back to the spa. I am okay with expensive when the level of service matches the price. I feel ripped off even having payed 1/2 price for my treatment at this spa.
