| - I am so in love with this place!! Definitely not your mom's spin studio.
I'm a cardio-enthusiast, have been long distance running for 17 years and am also a former college athlete (runner). I've tried a few cardio studios around CLE, and Harness Cycle is my fave! The place is very millennial-friendly; plays newer music (unless its a throwback playlist day!) and the classes consist of mostly 20-early 30 somethings, which makes it a great fit for a 27-year old like myself (not that others aren't welcome; there are people of all age groups). The instructors are very encouraging, motivating, welcoming to newbies, and make everyone feel comfortable no matter what their skill level. It isn't only the instructors, though; the people in the classes are also very friendly and helpful. Overall its a great atmosphere, and also a great work-out. From a cross-training standpoint, spinning is really helping me with my running!
My only complaint is that you do sort of need spin shoes for these classes. Every other studio I've tried I never felt the need to buy them because the cages worked well, but here they are sort of loose and you have to put them on the bike yourself and it's difficult. They rent and sell shoes, which i recommend.
