| - Aguila Self Storage. Stay away from this place if you can. I had an emergency situation and had to rent from them. I've rented MANY storage places over the years and this one didn't compare to any of the others. They are in business for one reason only and that is to take your money. After you sign their six page contract, you will find they have only two moving carts; one barely more than a junky toy and pretty much useless. Still, you can only use the carts when the office is open and you have to give them your driver's license to boot to use one. So, if you have to move in and the office is closed, or the cart is in use, you're on your own as to how to transport your goods to your rental unit. They claim this is because their customers steal their carts. The bathroom is outside the fence perimeter and you have to have a key from the office to use it. They tell you if you are there when the office is not open, go to the gas station on the corner and use their restroom. You have to buy their lock (it was $15) and you have to buy their insurance every month, although it doesn't seem that it covers you, only them in case of liability. One day I drove 10 miles there to pay my bill on my way out of town, during office hours, but the office was closed, so I had to sit in the parking lot for nearly an hour waiting for someone to show up. You're going to experience a 'gotcha' on every and any issue that comes up, They don't work with you on anything and they intentionally mislead me with regard to the terms of moving out. There are other self storage places in this area that are far more customer friendly, but unfortunately, because they are so much better than Aguila, they're typically full.
The name of this place is spelled Aguila, with a 'G'. Sorry someone already entered the name spelled incorrectly with a 'Q".
