They were hired for 2 times to load trucks for pre-moves. Both times they loaded items quickly, carefully, and efficiently. So we hired them a third time in October 2014 to load a truck of the remaining furniture that the house was staged with and all other items. They were trusted to load our most valued and cherished furnishings and belongings. There was only one person at home who had to help direct the movers inside the house. When the moving company in another state tried to unload the truck, they found the furniture and boxes had been physically thrown into the truck. Halfway through attempting to unload, the furniture started falling on the movers who were unloading. Boxes with household chemicals and paint (clearly marked) were loaded at the bottom and upside down and leaked on furniture. Boxes with breakables (clearly marked) were loaded at the bottom and crushed. Our large screen television which was loaded in a special television shipping box was loaded at the bottom with furniture on top of it. Our $8,000 dining room table and most every piece of furniture we own have been either severely damaged or destroyed. We contacted Impact Movers that day and then sent a description and photographs of the damaged and destroyed items. They have not responded at all. Other names you may find them under are The 1M Project, the1mproject.com. hireahelper.com, and the operator's name is Ron Burbank.
