  • I love supporting local places but I need them to have at least as good of customer service as the big boys. Here, I found friendly people, but service was completely aloof. Once we found someone to direct us where to look for a specific plant, they walked away, leaving us to walk over irrigation tubing and in muddy, wet areas to select a plant. Then, we got to carry the dripping plant a few hundred yards to check out. But...there was no one in the office area to check us out. So we stood there like morons for a minute or so before someone appeared. I grabbed a few very small succulent plants and asked for a bag since youknow, they are likely to fall over in the car ride. After getting 3 people involved, they gave us a bag that was larger than a kitchen trash bag...ensuring the plants would definitely fall over in the car making a mess (but hey, at least it was contained to the bag). Prices are decent or slightly better than national chains (plus it's local!) but I won't go out of my way to go here again. Maybe you'll find excellent service for the big ticket items (trees and pottery).
