A perfect testament to the business model of villa serena is that when you call them, you can press 1 if you are a prospective resident and you are transferred directly to a person. Or you press 2 if you are a current resident and you are transferred straight to voicemail. Clearly once they have your money, they are unconcerned about your satisfaction with the service they provide.
I lived in Villa Serena apartments for a year when I first moved to Henderson. I was very happy there for about 9 months. Towards the end of my time there the service in the office and maintenance of the grounds steadily declined (dog feces everywhere , overflowing trash, all the equipment in the gym broken). Most importantly, this is the only complex around that requires a 60 day notice even if your lease is up! They do not provide courtesy reminders as many other complexes do, and they are not transparent when it comes to increasing rent. In addition, if I had not been extremely aggressive in pursuing the end of business with them, they would have charged me for time that they had already moved someone else into my house. They also took almost two months to refund my deposit, and they are very shady about rewarding "referral money".
There are so many options for housing in henderson, do yourself a favor and choose a complex that treats their residents with the customer service they deserve.
