Me and hubby had lunch here today.
There was 1 waitress running the bar and half the restaurant which decreased her attentiveness to us. I understand being short staffed on days so this could have been why.
My biggest complaint and most important of all in any restaurant was the food quality. We ordered The lobster sushi roll and the ultimate shrimp tempura roll and the beef terriyaki lunch. This also came with salads and miso soup. Everything we had tasted old, pre-made and just not fresh at all. Our salads looked and tasted pre-made, the lettuce was wilted on all three. Our sushi rolls were below par. Like I said nothing seemed fresh! It all looked and tasted like it was pre-made or made from cheap ingredients to save the restaurant money. Even my "seared" ahi tuna looked like the seared part was either done the day before and just thrown in a container for the sushi chefs to use or seared in the microwave. Our "beef" was just nasty completely.. This has to be frozen meat they buy in bulk, just awful. My hubby and I do have a favorite sushi place that we visit 3-4 times a month. The reason why it's our favorite isn't because of fast service or a pleasant waitress... It's because of the top quality FRESH always perfect food. That's what keeps customers coming back... Make them dream of your food!!! Hopefully RA can grasp how crucial this is for their restaurant.
