| - This review is for my service with Martine. First off, let me say I've been actively working in beauty industry for 10+ years and was appalled by her behavior. It made me uncomfortable and was completely unprofessional.
Here we go... I had seen her once previously for "Botox" treatment in my forehead. She actually used Xeomin, which is not the problem at all. My first Xeomin treatment went great. During this treatment she informed me that she "had some extra product" and asked if I would like it anywhere else? I had her put the rest below my bottom lip, which I've done before and it looked great! (Side note: I've been treating my forehead with Botox for 6+ years at 4x's/year, this is not my first rodeo...)
My second treatment:
She did not do as many puncture sites and magically had to use all of the product this time in my forehead(only 3 months later). So in the course of three months, my forehead now takes more product?? Not even the worst part. So the next morning I could tell that there was a new line that had formed on the bridge of my nose. I assumed this would work itself out(as final results are 5-14 days after treatment) but called the office to let them know anyways. I already knew, but was informed to wait 1 to 2 weeks to let the final results show. I called one week later to let Martine know that I was still unhappy; I was then told that she was out of town and not one person at the "med spa" could do the same treatments and I would have to wait until she got back in town in two weeks. As this made me very unhappy, I was set up with an appointment with another gentleman who does injections at Just Face It. I took time off of work and went to this appointment to be told that not enough product had been used on me in the first place(???) I was also informed by him that he was unable to fix it, as he does not use the same product and I would need to make another appointment with Martine. So now my follow up(and 3rd) appointment is almost a month from my original appointment and I have been living with a line that was created and never there in the first place.
You would think after all of this, when I showed up for my follow up with Martine, she would be very polite and accommodating. She was the complete opposite!! Martine was defensive and rude, claiming that her injections could have NEVER created that line(never is a strong word to use, especially with injections). She actually ended up raising her voice with me. I calmly asked her to do the touch-up anyways and we would just see what happened. I kid you not, she did the touch up and the little line popped out while I was still in her chair!!!!! She proceeded to tell me that she had "never seen anything like this in her entire career" and asked if she could take photos of said line. (I'm in the industry Martine, you can't b*llsh*t a b*llsh*tter) Moral of the story, Please do not go here for injections.
I was not going to leave a review about this experience... however, I went to another professional today for an injection treatment and discussed my previous problem. The entire problem was lack of product that I PAID FOR. I've now had this confirmed by two other injections Specialists. It was not easy for me to make a touch-up appointment, which is supposedly included in the service. I feel bad for anyone who would've backed down to her bullying and not insisted on the touch-up. I am strong enough that I got my money's worth, but geez I had to fight way too hard for a service I paid good money for.
