  • I lived in this complex for three years. When I moved in, the manager was Angel. She wasn't the most friendly, but things got done. The new leasing company (Westland) is horrible. You are forced to call hotlines for all of your work requests. You never get to actually speak to someone who is even in your state. When the workers come to your house, they will refuse to tell you who they work for, their names, if they are licensed, etc. They started an electrical fire in my apartment. If you have security cameras, they will refuse to work inside of your apartment (because they know they do shady work). There is no weather stripping. Giant roaches will just walk in under your door. Everything inside the apartments is old and falling apart. I had to request work orders every other week for the same problems (garbage disposal, sink, air conditioner/heater) and they were never properly fixed. Management will lie to you. Mail is being stolen out of the boxes every other week. The week I left (End of July 2016), the mailbox had been stripped of its metals that were put in to reinforce the box. Management (Westland) has been known to lock the stray cats that have been living on the property for several years in the utility closets outside with no access to food or water. Residents have allowed their dogs to attack the cats on site, and management left a deceased and decaying cat body on site for 3 days. The number of people I had urinating outside of my bedroom window were too many to count. Ranging from small children to adult men. Disgusting and unacceptable. Don't let the large floorplans fool you. You'd be better getting an apartment elsewhere. Save yourself the mental anguish.
