They say it is the World's friendliest airport but for my layover it wasn't. I was hounded by sales people everywhere to get Southwest's frequent flyer credit card. People weren't any friendlier in general than other airports. Not bad but I expected people to me overly helpfull, talkative, etc. This airport (past security) is very busy with traffic of layovers. As a hub, many people are waiting in the corridors of gates, shops and restaurants. The hustle and bustle and crowds was hard to get away from. (See my reviews for Starbuck's or Jose Roux for quiet places to get away.) There are plenty of dining options, coffee, and gifts/ books/ magazines and more. The best way to find places is to walk the terminals and then make a decision. If you have less time ask the info people for a suggestion. All in all there are options for amusements and refreshments while you travel but don't expect anyone to hold your hand.
