  • Let me begin with full disclosure: Albert has been cutting my hair for about ten years now, so this is not a review of someone I've just discovered. He used to be with a salon chain, and won all the intramural awards they had to offer. When he changed salons within the chain, I followed him, even though it meant travelling several miles instead of walking a block from my house. When he and his colourist girlfriend decided to open up their own shop, I was thrilled for them, and not just because they're a mile closer to my house again! These are experienced, talented, award-winning professionals, comfortable to be around and operating now with that extra joy that comes from owning the place. Try them out!
