Today, my visit met my worst fears in trying on wedding dresses. The store was clearly over booked. All the bride's rooms were still in use with prior appointments. I was "greeted" by a stressed employee that told me she was still working with another bride. I was put in a tiny room with no mirrors as my consultant went back and forth between her clients. The other employees were rude and unwelcoming to my sister when she came in to meet us. I wished I had walked out the moment I felt the appointment was going badly. More time clearly needs to be allotted for each bride.
I think the worst part was when she asked my budget and then tried to push their credit card on me before I had even shown or talked about dresses I was interested in trying on.
If you do go to a David's Bridal I would recommend the Scottsdale Collections store. They had wonderful rooms and lighting. I was provided with undergarments, shoes and the full attention of a consultant.
