| - In search of a good coffee or munchies?.
DD did not even exist in our Las Vegas a year or two years ago,
it is all new. However, the interest in DD and promise of DD doing well is always there and the company most certainly aware of it, that is why they opened so many atleast dozen of them in so short time, just a year or so?.
There are many items I like from DD, the donuts, the bagels and even the new Hash browns.
Coffee is so so..I used to drink DD coffee because there were no viable alternatives, or likeable coffee's out there on a joint like fast food place until McDonalds McCafe came along (will write about it later).
DD in general has to improve on many fronts, the first and most important is the customer service and the type of people who are behind the cash machine and those behind making coffee or bagels for you.
What are the problems customers may face in many of these DDs in Las Vegas (I know for sure Rainbow and Charleston DDs)
1. Poor customer service and communications, the people who work in DD stores have half a second memory, that means either they do not take your order properly, or make mistakes or Simply Forget and later apologize.
DD on Rainbow and DD on W.Charleston are the two places I visited quite many times, and it is appalling to an extent I must stop going there altogether?.
2. After you order, they will take there own sweet time, but will not even communicate to you?.
3.Lack of politeness and courteous behavior like how is it going, is everything OK, or Atleast a SMILE......?.
You have to look at their faces, is pretty lifeless, common, you are in a hospitality industry where serving people in the best manners possible is your JOB and you do not even make effort, this will spiral down their business to trash cane, so DD Beware in Las Vegas, if you do not fix it you will loose customers.
4. Both DD in Rainbow Blvd near 215 and Trophicana, as well as the DD on West Charleston near 215 are to be carefully monitored by not only DD but the local Las Vegas authorities for their terrible customer services.
5.Arrogance, is all over these people who work
6. Inefficient in service or delivering goods once you order
7. Most of them smoke, if you sit there for 5 minutes, you can see the person behind the counter walking off to inhale tone of smoke into their system and they will walk right back into the counter, I did not see them washing hands or washing their mouths.........who knows how it stinks if you get any closer than the distance you are standing!!!...LOL!!!!,
8. I had a few times waited far too long to see my order did not reach from the cashier to the cook who is preparing the items for me, only coffee was given to me right away, but the bagel and has-brown orders was not even in the list of the things they were making.
After a while, I had to look around and see what is going on, and when I asked if the bagel's ready?, a big stare came at me, Bagel?.... Oh sorry, give me a min I will make it.............such is the response?.

As far as cleanliness, it is so so....I generally take the items and go out sit outside, or just run!.
Whenever I sit inside, the feeling is .... it is not that comfortable, as it is not cleaned well?.
Coffee, as someone mentioned in her/his post, you literally have to scrap the chemicals from your tongue or else it will stink and sticky............oh...nasty. And they proclaim America Runs on Dunkin Donuts, no it is NOT dummy!?.
DD coffee has to be totally revised, upgraded and changed, the current coffee they might have been selling it for years or decades, needs a total change.
My advice to them is to go and drink, McCafe to know what a good coffee tastes like Or go to Sambalatte in summerlin experience the real coffee taste!
DD and Starbucks are the same, like some kind of concentrated concoction, stale, horrible color, horrible taste and stinks and smells like you are walking out of a urinal....sorry, true.

Customer service so far the Worst.I have ever seen in DDs in other places, I lived in Eastern States, I never once had such poor customer service. Send all those DD employees to CT or MA and train them better.
Tons of parking space at this DD, no issue. Be careful, when you are driving out of the Lot into the st, the Rainbow Blvd can be crowded and people may drive like nuts.....unsafe..!?.
