| - We did all our research on the internet, over email and the phone so even after deciding on A Special Memory we were still a little nervous to see the chapel in person. We were very pleased! We were treated wonderfully even thought we bought the least expensive package
Customer Service -We bought the least expensive package and were a little apprehensive that we'd be treated poorly because we were not spending much. That could not be farther from reality.
Flowers -I brought my own flowers made of wood that I will have as a keepsake forever. The "say I do" package included a 3 rose bouquet. A Special Memory was happy to let me carry my own, and also allowed me to exchange the 3 rose bouquet in the package for 3 single roses (with baby's breath, greens and coordinating ribbon) to give to my guests. I also had a wood flower for the groom's boutonnière, so we used the boutonnière included in the package for one of the male guest and purchased an additional one for the other male guest for a very reasonable $10.
Photo CD - After reviewing the options I came to realize to buy all the pictures I wanted a la carte I was going to pay the same if not more than just paying $216 for the photo CD and printing my own pictures and now I can Photoshop them, crop them, and print as many as I want as often as I want. I am about as thrifty as someone can be and I am telling you it is so well worth the expense to get the CD!!!
Pictures - The "say I do" package states they'll take "a minimum of 35 pictures," That didn't seem like many if some did not come out good. We had no need at all to worry!!! Jed, the photographer, was amazing. Make no mistake, these are not photos where every hair will be in the right place and someone will spend several minutes posing each shot. That said, the included pictures were perfect for what we wanted and came out wonderful. As far as the number of pictures - Jed took well over 100 pictures and deleted some bad ones (closed eyes, etc.) before we viewed them. We ended up with 89 pictures on our CD including pictures with our families. I understand the additional time he spent with us might not always be possible if they are booked solid, but we got married on a Saturday at 6pm and at no point did we feel rushed.
Pastor - We had Pastor Jamie. She was very nice and made sure the ceremony was what we wanted (short but meaningful) and nothing we didn't want (religious). She did an amazing job of making us comfortable and keeping everything on track. She knew just when to take my flowers from me so I could light the unity candle. Jamie sounded surprisingly sincere despite performing several ceremonies a day.
Limo - The limo showed up right on time. The driver called the chapel to make sure my husband was there and hidden away so he would not see me until the ceremony began.
