So there used to be a sign up front that says poke express? But it's not there anymore. My friend said they're under new management now so I'm guessing that's the reason. It's all just under island sushi & grill.
When you come in, there's a counter for the Hawaiian a la carte food. Up ahead is the poke station. The room to the right is for AYCE sushi. I usually get the poke & it's the best in the valley, in my opinion. I get a fourth or half a pound of the spicy ahi with a side of rice with furikake. Soooo yums!! Their garlic chicken and spicy tuna bowl are fricken good too.
Before my recent visit, I haven't been since like maybe a year? Or 6 months? I'm not really sure. But seems like the people behind the poke station are a bit slower pace. The guy saw me standing there waiting to for someone to take my order but he just kept talking to his coworker... ??? Yeah, it was kinda off putting. Anyway, their food is great so I will be back!
