| - The hotel itself is everything you'd expect from a Vegas hotel. It's clean, up to date, and pretty. When we checked in, we got a free upgrade to a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area. The room was lovely for the price. The only issue was the loud music that plays until 2 or 3am at the bar nearby, but that was easily drowned out by the a/c. We never heard any noise from anyone else in neighboring rooms or the hallway, so it was great for relaxing. If it were just for the hotel experience, I would have easily given it five stars.
The issue I had is with one of the waitresses, Joane, who called me some derogatory names for not tipping her. I saw her do similar things to other patrons in the casino as well. I reported it to the front desk manager who told me that it wasn't her employer, but she would talk to the food & beverage manager, who would get back to me. A week and a half later, I've heard nothing. The next night, I saw and heard the same waitress call a man who was in the middle of a hand playing blackjack a spoiled child because he didn't tip her for a bottle of water that she had on her tray.
For this alone, we will not be going back to Harrah's
