  • This is the most inefficient airport I have ever seen. If you are on a connecting flight through this airport, you need to leave at least 2 hours for the transient time. It has rotating doors deliberately designed to slow down exiting or transferring passengers. And yes, you have to go through the security check again, not mentioning there is only one security check point and over a thousand people in line waiting to pass through it. Meanwhile, most of security check stations are empty and waiting for passengers. People and volunteers in the airport are nice but it can't hide the mismanaged infrastructure and failure to properly control the passenger flow. If there is any statistics about artificial delays generated by airport in US, PHX should be #1.
