You have guests in town who want to do something "Las Vegas", but get off the Strip, and not gamble. After a morning drive through Red Rock Conservation area, and a stop at their visitor center, hop on the freeway and head to Main Street. Eat lunch (we chose the Triple 7 Brewery, which I've reviewed separately). Then get the (partial) listing of the arts and antiques from the main lobby and take yourself on the walking tour. Not only is Main Street an absolute gem of a casino, but it showcases how truly beautiful many of these turn-of-the-last-century casinos and showhalls were. We spent over an hour roaming, looking at the various items...It would have been shorter, but I kept losing track of the elevators.
I love Main Street. Such a cool place to go.
