Ruben and I celebrated our anniversary here a couple years ago and we had a wonderful experience. It's been a while for me, however, Ruben took his mother for her birthday last year since we enjoyed it so much and they had a great time!
We started our meal with the Calamari with Sweet and Spicy Peppers ($13), Beefsteak Tomato & Onion Salad with Roquefort Cheese ($11), and Lobster Bisque, finished with Cognac ($11). I enjoyed the sweet and spicy sauce on the calamari and the bisque was delicious. The salad was good, but disappointingly scarce with three slices of tomato and four very thin slices of red onion.
Ruben and I both enjoyed an 8-ounce Filet Mignon ($39) with Wild Mushrooms ($11), Steamed Asparagus ($10), Macaroni & Cheese ($9), and Sea Salt Fries ($8) as our accompaniments. Their steaks are USDA Prime Midwest Grain-Fed and were perfectly prepared (medium rare) and really delicious. We were very pleased with all the side dishes as well.
Service was spectacular and we enjoyed a complimentary chocolate cake at the end of our dinner. Vic & Anthony's has been a highly recommended steakhouse choice for both of us and we will always love to return!
