  • Let me keep this short and sweet. Grist House might just be the most perfect place to hang out. Why? Let me count the ways: 1) Incredibly friendly bartenders 2) Relaxed, chill atmosphere where you'll encounter scores of customers happily drinking, mingling, and playing games of cornhole in their gravel courtyard area 3) You can bring your best doggie friend to hang out alongside you...and everyone knows that dogs make EVERYTHING better 4) Their covered patio/bar area with TVs to catch your favorite game (and super double bonus for being a Penn State bar!!) 5) They host really fun events, like food truck rallies or Pups n Pints 6) And, of course, the piece de resistance....excellent craft beer (not to mention the fact that they almost always have at least one food truck onsite for those also interested in noshing) It's a great place to grab a group of friends and go hang out for a lazy afternoon.
