Unlike the other reviews I think the bagels at this location are pretty good, and I have not had problems with them running out. But the customer service is inconsistent at best.
I visited this location at a little after 3 this afternoon. Two women behind the counter were chatting away quite amiably - to one another, not to me. I asked for iced tea and a veg out bagel. I was never asked what flavor iced tea, and had to interrupt to make this known. The tea was plunked down on the counter with a 'here you go'. Same when the bagel was delivered in a to go wrapper - I had never been asked if the order was to go. Never a thank you or acknowledgement from either one of them.
It is abundantly obvious that Einstein's does no customer service training. But a lot of their employees seem to lack even basic manners that should be taught in the home. I really hope these two ladies enjoyed their chat today, because they just lost a customer.
