  • I will preface this with I had a 90k service done on my car about a week and a half ago... I was going about my day, my car was running fine, and I stopped to get gas. After I filled my car I tried to start it and to my surprise it wouldn't start. The lights started flickering and then it just died. I opened the hood of my vehicle to find massive corrosion on one of the battery cables. As a result of the corrosion, the attachment used as a conductor to the battery had completely snapped off; therefore, not allowing me to start my car and leaving me stranded in 110 temps. Now- it has been my experience that when a large service (or any service) like a 90k is performed, the technicians have to actually open the hood of your vehicle. When I contacted them to ask how it was missed I was given fumbling excuses. Additionally, they wanted to charge me a $60 tow to bring it to them so they could look at it. Sixty bucks after I've already given them around four hundred. Nope! After a kind stranger fixed my car in the parking lot (I refer to him as the superhero), I sent the auto shop a picture of the massive corrosion on the battery and snapped cable. I was given a more detailed explanation of human error and an apology. I get human error. Human error is forgetting to turn off the coffee pot when you leave the house, or losing your sunglasses on top of your head, or frantically looking for your cellphone while your on your cell phone with your best friend (don't judge me!). Humans overlook things all the time. But this, missing that much corrosion on a battery, was blatant negligence. This level of negligence further raises the question about whether or not the services I paid for were actually done to my car- because that requires them to open the hood and they should have caught that. In addition to the 90k service I had them replace the drivers side sun visor. Because the part had to be ordered, I was under the impression that I was getting a "new" sun visor. However, the sun visor that they installed was covered in grease stains, had a blue pen mark across it, and a rip in the fabric. It was clearly used. I was offered a replacement for an additional fee (yep, additional fee) or my money back. And of course, an apology. I'm not writing this review lightly. I have a business of my own and I know how damaging a negative review can be-but buyer beware! If you want to have things overlooked on your vehicle, or if you enjoy being stranded with car problems, this is your place!
