The co-op is a great place for the ecologically/organically-minded consumer. If you spend more than $100 annually (which is astonishingly easy to do), it's worth joining the co-op. They have lots of hard-to-find fresh veggies, including dandelion greens, and other rare-ish food products. If you love good cheese, Willy St. Co-op sells several types of Wisconsin cheese that are hard to find anywhere else. They always have vegan and vegetarian food options and their sushi is probably the only sushi you should buy from a grocery store. Prices are on the higher end, but it's hard not to love this place.
