The location is on the Southwest corner of State and W. Pleasant Valley. I wanted to point this out because the little plaza is easy to miss.
I've been meaning to come here for years, and since none of the other ethnic shops on State had the brand of garlic powder I was looking for, figured I'd give them a shot. No dice, but such is life.
That being said, this place is wonderful! Aisles of all sorts of imported goods. Things that you have to look at the pictures and try to guess what they are. Nice deli with meats and cheeses I've never heard of before and a small frozen goods area with a great selection of pyrohy, including selections from Perla's (if you don't know those, you have not had pyrohy).
Probably the best craft/imported beer selection in the city. And like all the fun stores like this, mystery drinks. I got one that I guessed was lemon ($1.39) and was luckily correct - kind of a fizzy lemonade with actual lemon bits.
The store is much bigger inside that it's outward appearance. Place is impeccably clean, and the staff is absolutely wonderful.
