  • I am struggling with my experience here yesterday. I was so excited to reconnect with some exquisite and succulent Cuban food. I was not so fortunate during this visit. My friend had the Ropa Vieja plate: shredded beef brisket, bell peppers, onions, tomato wine sauce, moros 17.95 had I the Pollo Ajillo plate: boneless chicken breast sautéed with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, garlic, sherry, white rice 14.95 Both plates were very simple in the presentation and came accompanied with rice. The consistency of the meat was so watery that it completely spoiled the rice. For a moment thought I was eating a rice soup with chunks of meat. This location is very dated and the ambiance was not entirely pleasant and to make things even more uncomfortable, the restrooms are outside in the backyard. Needless to say, I will not likely be coming back anytime soon. It took me 8 years to come back and now I remember why I avoided it for so long. My friend was ok with it and the avocado salad looked delicious and my friend liked it. Our server was also friendly
