  • I have lived at Tesora for two years now. I must say that the location is wonderful. It is in a very quiet, cooler area of Las Vegas. There are plenty of trees and green in the complex, which is hard to find in the middle of the desert. A company called Ovation owns Tesora, as well as several other complexes in the city. I moved over from another complex called Arzano on the East side. It was my favorite apartment ever, although the location was not ideal. I moved to Tesora, because I like this side of town and it is closer to my work. I moved into a Terano unit, which is a two bedroom/two bath apartment. I will say that I was not a fan of the floor plan or the location of the apartment. However, recently I moved into a Messina unit, which is also a two bedroom/two bath apartment, but a much better and different floor plan. It feels more like a townhome. I also have an attached garage, which is very handy. I also like the fact that the part of the complex I live in now, has the gates closed all the time. I feel very safe and secure. It is definitely a much nicer part of the complex and you don't get the road noise from Fort Apache or the hospital across Fort Apache from the complex. The office staff is always very nice and very helpful. Daisy is a great property manager. And Jill is terrific at dealing with issues and making sure things are great with your apartment. The Maintenance staff is very prompt and does their best to solve all problems in a timely manner. The couple of downsides of the complex, are that turning off Post Road onto Fort Apache can be an adventure at peak hours. Too many travel Fort Apache between Russell and Sunset, in which it is one lane in each direction for most of it. It almost needs a traffic light or four way stop there. I've almost wrecked a few times. I mentioned Arzano earlier. I had beautiful Stainless Steel Kitchen Appliances there. However, the appliances in the apartments here seem older and are nowhere near as nice. My Terano apartment in the complex, needed a lot of attention as far as cabinets needed to be revarnished and a couple of nicks and dings in them. However, my current apartment here is beautiful and was well taken care of. It does seem like all of the Ovation Properties are a bit on the high end of pricing. However, I will say that I haven't any issues of waiting for days and weeks on Maintenance, as I have other apartment companies. And they do a great job keeping up with the landscaping and making the outside of the complexes look very nice. And I feel safe and secure living here, so I will pay a little extra for all of that. I am also puzzled that they don't have a "night drop box" to pay your rent or a way to pay your rent on-line. It's not that I mind going into the office and dealing with the staff, but some of us have erratic schedules and it would be in the best interest of the tenants to offer other ways to pay their rent, then to have to go into the office each month. However, I do like the fact that they give you to the 5th of each month to pay, where some complexes and companies are very strict of having the rent by the 1st. Overall, it is a nice place to live and I appreciate the staff and it feels like home.
