We recently stopped at the downtown Phoenix Westin Province Bar for drinks and a quick meal. Nice spot, valet parking and both indoor and outdoor seating - modern decor.
On the inside you have a choice of tables & chairs, booth seating or you can utilize the bar stools. We were there late afternoon and the place was quiet when we arrived but business started to pick-up as our meal progressed.
We selected a booth in the bar area and were "well" served by the bar tender. My wife ordered a Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay and I asked for a glass of Bordeaux. They were both very drinkable, in fact, I ended up ordering a second round for myself. Then we selected several small plates. These included cauliflower croquettes, filet & NY tips, fried green tomatoes, salmon cakes and a watermelon salad.
We cleaned our plates - everything was tasty and fresh. I was surprised to find that the cauliflower was my favorite. I would definitely order this again.
Prices were competitive, service was very good and the food (based on what we tried) was delicious. I recommend.
