i find it so difficult to read bad reviews of places that i personally love.
it's as if i'm somehow getting lucky while everyone else is striking out.
that sux!!!
the charcoal room is definitely one of those places that i wish all of you who had bad experiences there had dined with me instead.
the outcome would've been quite different, i think.
we've eaten here 3 times and, each time, we've had nothing short of a positive, satisfying experience.
i always order a fish of some sort and have never had any complaints.
it's always seasoned well and cooked to my liking which is to say a perfectly medium rare piece.
my hubby always orders a steak and it has been consistently good.
but what i like most about this steakhouse, especially compared to other station casino steakhouses, are the sides and apps.
where most steakhouses put little care into their side dishes, the charcoal room seems to realize that the accompaniments and the main entree are of equal importance.
is there anything worse than having a delicious entree when the rest of the food sucks?
sometimes i judge a restaurant on whether or not the greens remain crunchy after being cooked.
i absolutely hate soggy greens.
charcoal room has never served me a soggy vegetable.
that's a huge plus, in my book.
