| - Still nice, but sadly no longer great. Plus the locals 1/2 price is discount is gone so lunch is a twenty dollar bill and dinner closer to $30.
The food and selection have been going downhill for the last year. It seems they cater to an Asian market now, which is fine, and it has increased the Asian food variety. The carving station is standard LV buffet fair, but the pre-prepared hot trays around it are on the low side of buffet standard. The Mexican food is bland and never changes; same with the Italian (if you want to call it that). The dessert area is still worth coming for with some great gelatos, fresh baked cookies, and a wide selection of tarts, cupcakes, and pies.
Was disappointed to see a lot of the staff standing around, from hostesses to the cooks to the wait staff. But I guess that's what happens when the customers decline. The place was mostly empty for lunch, maybe a quarter full when this time last year there would have been a line to get in.
C'mon Rio, get your act together, price this fairly and bring the food quality back up. Please?
