rev:text	I am really impressed with this place. I had no idea what I was walking into when we took my visiting brother-in-law but it was a great afternoon. We only did one hour but I can imagine we would have been tempted by another hour if we didn't have somewhere to be after! As a marketing person, I appreciate that they have partnerships with other locals places and shows. You'll see advertising in each lane but the best part about that is there are also prize boxes (I think $5) you can put on your target. If you hit it, you win what's inside. I thought it was a great deal (even though I didn't take advantage of it) and that there were some great options on there. There are also fun "upgrades" - we took advantage of throwing a spear and you walk out of there feeling like a member of the Justice League. Even more, there is a Rage Room if you'd like to reminisce about your ex. Friends can watch outside like supportive friends should. I've never personally met an axe "pro" before then, which makes Axe Monkeys a great place because most people are starting on the same level. I thought the associate who explained the rules to us did a great job and he did a great job of showing us how to properly throw. (There are 4 different techniques that they show you and don't pretend like you knew that.) Not only do they take safety precautions seriously (WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES), they are very welcoming and aren't uppity. Caution: It's very addicting and you'll want to stay for longer!
