Two of their instructors are amazing. The space is clean and lovely. This is one of the only place that provides a dark, candle lite day time hot hatha environment.
However, the participants and staff are not very pleasant. It's very uncomfortable to go to a place (pay full fees) and feel unwelcome and rejected.
Most participates' level of fitness is very very low (lowest group in the city). they are not consistent and not many have an actual goal. No one ever talk to each other. on top of that, they do not wear hygienic clothing. the studio allow people to baggy cotton shirts and fleece pants to Hot Hatha but they do have problem with actual hot yoga wear. go figure.
Queensquay has been under-construction. I've called ahead to find out the updated area of closure and what is the best way to get there as it changes daily and hourly. I was given the wrong info and circled around for another extra 45 minutes. I ended up to be 8 minutes late and was refused into the class. I stormed in regardless. The instructor had no issues taking me in. This particular employee and others started to treat me even worse than before. I've been going to this studio since the start of the year. My dedication ends there and I have no intention in ever going back or ever suggesting it to friends. I ate the cost of my last few classes. I couldn't handle the environment any longer.
This place is changing its name to Harbourfront YYoga. Be ware!
