| - I came here twice, really wanting to love it, given all the hype. Sadly, nothing to love.
Matcha soft serve: quite good, 4 stars, but Uncle Tetsu's matcha cafe has just as good matcha soft serve with no line
Tsujiri sundae: this is a their signature sundae, with a combination of matcha soft serve, red bean paste, roasted brown rice, and some bland tapoica-like balls of something-or-other. The roasted brown rice has a nice crunchy texture, but completely tastelessly bland. The red bean paste is a bit too sweet, and goes fine with the matcha ice cream. The sundae as a whole is really nothing special.
Matcha cream puff: Great idea in theory, but way too much flour, and I feel like I am chewing through a massive chunk of bread just to finish it! The filling is nice.
Macaron: It is matcha in the shell and red bean in the filling. The red bean taste came through, but not the matcha, at all. Texture is spot on, the taste is meh. Nadege's green tea macaron wins hands down.
Service: slow as heck, but the girls were nice and takes time to explain things. No complaints there.
