Got to check off another Triple D off my list. Hole in the wall place in phoenix. You would never know this place even exisited. The places was packed for a Saturday. But the wait for food was short. The woman taking our orders was great. She went over the menu throughly and went over the most popular items. Very sweet lady!
The menu has an eclectic mix of flavors. Mexican, Chinese, and carribean.
The combo platters are reasonably priced with good sized portions.
I had the jerk fried rice with chicken, red chicken, black beans and chile relleno.
The red chicken was fried a little too much, so it was dry and not hot when served. The rice was so fluffy with tons of jerk seasoning. The black beans were so creamy but lots of flavor.
The chile relleno was the best! Sooo much gooey cheese and fried perfectly. It stayed crispy the whole time.
Quesadilla was full of cheese and had nice crispy edges. The chicken teriyaki was tender and teriyaki sauce was thick and sweet.
We also received complimentary snickerdoodle cookies. Those were fresh soft and full of cinnamon!
