| - I typically let sleeping dogs lye, until I heard an add about Haines & Kreiger on the radio the other day. DO NOT USE THEM. We tried to file Bankruptcy years ago when the crash hit to save our home. Once the retainer had been paid, we rarely could get a response from their ever changing staff (Yeah not the attorney, and you spoke to someone multiple times, so they were never really up to speed) and then they made multiple errors in court (per the judge) so it was denied and we were going to have to re-file if we wanted to save our home. Now if Haines and Kreiger had told us that the laws were going to change in 2 months and that the banks were going to have to work with us, we would have decided to proceed with the bankruptcy and save our home, but we didn't. So on the last court date, that we were told we didn't need to appear at, they petitioned the court for attorney's fees from the trustee account on the spot, even though we hadn't even seen that bill. We lost our home and a lot of money on fees that we inflated.
Total and completely immoral people thriving on peoples desperation. They are exactly the kind of attorney's that give attorney's a bad reputation.
I strongly urge you to find an attorney/law office that tells you the truth rather than telling you what they think you want to hear, only while racking up hours of charges, to ultimately leave you in worse shape than when you went in
