I have to imagine this place was busier than normal due to Queens Feast Restaurant Week, as it seemed fairly close quarters with lots of staff moving about the restaurant. That being said, the service was excellent (our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu) and the food was memorable.
What makes the lobster ravioli pasta dark? Squid ink! The plate was full, both in volume and flavor, and I appreciated the pesto and bread plate that was brought out at the start. The scallop appetizers were nice and I was quite happy with my cannoli dessert.
Don't let the location in a strip mall keep you from checking this place out, as the food speaks for itself and the service is a great match. My dining companions were big fans of the tiramisu, but not of the cheesecake. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out.
