My feet hurt so bad by the time we were boarding our second plane that I didn't wear my cute boots again for four days. You see, it's easy to get turned around in the Charlotte airport. Somehow, we managed to visit every single terminal by the time we left. Sometimes multiple times.
Our main visits were to:
-Terminal F...or maybe E? One of those. That's where we got off our first flight.
-Terminal B: Our connecting flight was supposed to leave out of this terminal, but then it wasn't there. I then noticed the flight being listed off as located in Terminal C, so we booked it there, but it had already left.
-Terminal C: Super nice American Airlines attendant re-booked me in 4D for the next flight out -- an aisle with a bunch of legroom! And no one next to me! I was so pleased. Best flight ever. Best. flight. ever.
-Carolina Beer Company: Mediocre and felt like an Applebees. Pass.
-A Taste of Carolina: Not mediocre and didn't feel like an Applebees. Go.
-BOJANGLES: See my specific review. All the love to this fast food chain.
-Bathrooms: They were...okay. Small but generally clean. Much better than *some* airport bathrooms. (Lookin' at you, NOLA, and your super weird attached seat covers.)
I also bought a Coke for just about $3, which I guess is normal in an airport. Unfortunately, I left basically the whole bottle in the plane's seat pocket. Downfall of having too much space, I suppose.
Our flight from Charlotte left on time; boarding was easy. Overall I really liked this modern airport. I wouldn't mind another NC layover.
