  • I've been tanning at Body Heat for about 20 days now. It's very close to my office so I selected it based on location alone. I used to tan at Palm Beach Tan so that is my only real comparison (at this point I would say I like them better). The prices are pretty high to me considering the beds you get. I got the package that gets me to the level 4 beds. The beds are ok - I got a good base tan going. I would say that the staff is just OK. A couple of the girls keep asking me if I want to go the full 12 minutes. Dude...look at me...I'm fair skinned and I don't want to burn. Don't they see the # of minutes I went last time on the computer screen? Another con - it seems like every one of those beds is different - what buttons to push, how to turn off the face tanners, the music, the fans.....jeesh. Overall I wouldn't advise NOT to come here, but I'm not running around raving about them either. Side note to ALL tanning salons - please clean your floors more often. Just do it. Swiffers are cheap and easy to use. Those girls you are paying pennies per hour...if they can punch numbers on a computer, they can certainly use a Swiffer. Oh...and then please check up to make sure they are doing it! Thanks.
