| - I stayed in the jubilee tower, and it was absolutely beautiful! I was thrilled that the room didn't reek of cigarette smoke, the bathroom was spotless, the towels were soft, and my room didn't look like some of the unflattering photos I saw on yelp. The floors, however, were questionable. They were pretty sticky, and I stepped on a few hard/crusty spots. It's definitely nothing a pair of flip flops can't handle, but the tactile memory of crusty/sticky floors is forever engrained in the trauma center of my brain---so I had to take off a star for that. Just make sure to bring a pair of flip flops with you if you plan to stay at Balley's, and this won't be a problem you have to face :) I also visited Vegas during the hottest time of the year and it just so happened to be 115 degrees outside when I arrived. To say I was extremely excited to cool down at the pool was an under-statement; however, my excitement quickly dissipated when I approached a murky pool that felt more like a jacuzzi. So because it felt hotter to be in the pool than it was to be out of the pool, I had to take away another star. They did have a few outdoor showers that helped me beat the heat, but don't count on the pool to do the trick. The great thing about this place is that it is centrally located on the strip, and you can easily walk to day clubs and night clubs.
