| - I found this on Groupon and thought, "sure, why not?".. it was definitely an experience. Very relaxing and easy to breath inside of the cave.
Once you enter the actual spa you would not know that behind door number one is a totally awesome 3,000 lb saltcave. There are chairs set up with blankets as it is chilly inside the cave, no where near cold but the light blanket makes it comfy for relaxing. We were informed that the salt inside of the cave is very good for respiratory regulation, i.e. asthma, breathing issues, etc. skin conditions and migraines, all common issues in the Western world. The biggest issue you will more than likely face is relaxing your mind, I had to keep reminding myself that this is "me time" not time to think about what to do for dinner, birthday gifts and so on and so forth. This was quite a reality check and I really hope you can enjoy the full effect of the salt cave by easing your mind to nothing-ness.
While you attempt this daunting task, the cave is low lit, with color changing twinkle lights, soft meditation music and Himalayan sea salt covering the floor.
Best of luck in your quest for nirvana.
