  • Never again will I settle on a cheaper price for a mediocre job. I can handle the work being just ok. But what I can't handle, thieves! AND let me tell you- Green Clean maids are JUST THAT! My first experience with Green Clean maids was at Turnberry Towers in 2015, when I was an employee there. I met the manager Lucy, and other than the lack of dusting at the towers, they did a decent job. Not high class towers quality, but again, you get what you pay for. So in July of this year, one of the managers, possibly owners, Lucy, text me offering me a great deal. 2 maids, 2 hours, $85, for the next week. I let her know I would be moving and asked if she'd extend that deal for me, I would be willing to not use my normal cleaner and try Lucy's services. We scheduled an appointment, and then they cancelled on me. No biggie, things happen. So we rescheduled and I was happy to give the 2 maids an even $100 and let them have the house to themselves to clean. The night before Lucy called and asked if there were any specific instructions. I told her I just need the bathrooms and the kitchen done. That's it! Easy to do with 2 people right? Especially in a small 1400 sq ft condo. The maids arrived about 10 minutes late, and I walked the only one who spoke English around and showed her what I wanted done. I even said, "don't worry about the carpets". I had NO IDEA that meant they would simply brush the dirt, dust, tacks, ashes, and whatever else that was in the kitchen right over to that carpet. (See pic of tacks on floor) So that was my first uneasy feeling. I also let her know I had a black and white garbage can, and some black and white shower hooks in the bathroom, that they could throw away, or keep if they wanted. This is the ONLY TIME I said anything about throwing items away, or gave permission for them to take anything. Now I mentioned, I am moving out. I had 2 kitchen cabinets with items in them, wine glasses, a couple bottles of wine, a razor in the packaging for work around house, a cast iron skillet, and a few other misc. items. When I arrived that evening to check on the work, the maids 100% emptied the kitchen, without asking whatsoever. Every cabinet empty- BUT NOT CLEANED OUT OR DUSTED OFF!! They simply assumed since I was moving out, it was ok for them to take the wine, razor, and other items. When I contacted Lucy about this, she let me know her maids threw everything away in bags in the garbage. Even though I was highly upset, I was relived because at least my items would still be there. But no. No bags, no wine, just the stuff they didn't want to keep for themselves like old silverware and a vase, thrown in the trash. No sign of the alcohol, or my pool key, or my small dish from Mexico, or any of them items I actually still wanted! I am just at a loss. Who throws someone's items away without permission. Who takes it upon themselves to take full bottles of unopened wine home? Lucy said she would reimburse me the $100, I have NOT seen it. She said she would send new maids out to clean, she did not. Now, she wont even answer my calls or texts! I have never seen such lack of professionalism. The last text I received from Lucy said "I will reimburse you, and it's a shame you can't appreciate my maids good work, I will never give that deal again!" Wait, HOOOOLLLLD UP MISS LUCY! Your maids steal from me and it's a shame I can't appreciate that? I would have easily given her still a 3 star review, had she made this right. I will never use Green Clean services again! I will also be contacting my former employer at Turnberry to warn them about the sticky fingers. I am sure there are some residents there with much better liquor then my cheap wine! Steer clear folks!
